Michael Alford (Mike) is originally from Fort Worth, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government from the University of Texas in 1993 and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2000. He earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 1996. His areas of practice include patents, trademarks, and copyrights.

Mr. Alford is a registered Patent Attorney. He was admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2001. He has been a member of the Texas Bar since 1996 and of the California Bar since 2010. His other bar admissions include the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
